Something Borrowed Something Blue

ABOUT

Something Borrowed Something Blue is Duke University’s co-ed Christian a cappella group, consisting of students who love God and love to sing. Originally founded in 1969 as a Christian folk band, SBSB adopted a new wedding-themed name in 1993 to remind us that we, as the church, are the beloved bride of Christ (Revelation 21). We exist primarily to glorify God and choose to perform a wide variety of songs to communicate the love of Christ. As a musical ministry, our repertoire reflects aspects of God's character and includes music that has meaningfully influenced our members' lives. Singing, however, is just one part of being a member of SBSB — from vivacious game nights to our annual Spring Break community service trip, SBSB blends fun, service, and music, allowing us to grow as followers of Christ and as a family of friends.
